My First 5K

My First 5K is an opportunity to make a commitment to yourself and your health. Whether you are starting out walking and working your way to running, we can support you along the way.

You can design your own training schedule, google Couch to 5K training programs or follow the schedule we suggest. You can click here to view the training schedule.

On May 8, at the Borgess Run for the Health of It!, we will have a special bib for you that will indicate that this is your first 5K.  And when you finish, celebrate your success by ringing the My First 5K Bell to give others a chance to applaud your achievement!
