Go Ahead. Write Down Your Goals.

Experts say your chances of achieving goals are vastly improved simply by writing them down. “They” also suggest you state them in positive terms (as opposed to what you won’t do), and that they be specific. You can write them down here, or put them on a card that you carry in your wallet or purse, stick them on your refrigerator, or start keeping a journal of what you’re doing to approach your goals. Or you can study goal-setting and learn more about what the experts say like setting just a few goals—or even just one— and making it or them realistic.
