“One year ago if someone would have told me I would be eager to get up early on a Saturday morning and running in temps below freezing I would have told them they were crazy. This is by far an incredible group of people and the entire experience has exceeded any expectation I could have had.Thank you for all your guidance, encouragement and laughs throughout the last few months.”

Last year I changed my eating habits, then joined Borgess run camp and in May completed the Borgess 1/2 marathon (my first ever).I have become fit, lost nearly 60 pounds and feel amazing.

What’s Happening in YOUR World?
Maybe you’re disgusted with your current state of health. Maybe you want to know yourself better. Maybe you want to be an inspiration to others. Maybe you want to sleep better. Or live longer. Possibly just channel your compulsiveness. In any event, ask yourself this: have you ever made a bad investment in your health?
Here’s What’s Good About Ours?
Helpful information. Social support. Some people call it social pressure, and they tell us that’s enough to get them out of bed on a Saturday morning. And then when they do, they’re glad they did. Borgess Run Camp has just enough organization not to spoil the fun. Camp infrastructure includes exposure to expertise (including physicians and physical therapists), plenty of detailed information (including maps, training guides and clinics), ongoing communications, hydration on the training runs, post-run food and ways to meet new people and develop new interests. It’s a different world, for sure.
